Autism Center Grand Opening Slated July 7

A grand opening celebration is planned for 11 a.m. July 7 at the Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment, 611 N. Fountain Street.

BACKGROUND: The Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment provides diagnostic and intervention services to families and individuals dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Center brings together four institutions that provide services at the center – Southeast, TouchPoint Autism Services-Southeast Project, The Tailor Institute and The Thompson CenterᾰSoutheast Outreach for Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention. The Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment opened in its new 11,582-gross-square-foot facility Jan. 4.
