Maintenance/Repair Work Starting in SRC-North, Student Aquatic Center

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., July 21, 2010 -- Two projects will begin soon in the Student Recreation Center–North at Southeast Missouri State University that will affect patrons using the facilities.

Starting on July 29, the West Gym will close due to floor resurfacing and conditioning. This project will last through Aug. 11. The West Gym will be unusable. Access to the Student Aquatic Center will remain through the East Gymnasium at all times.

The leisure pool and spa in the Student Aquatic Center will be drained and cleaned from Sunday, Aug. 1–Sunday, Aug. 8 and will re-open to patrons on Monday, Aug. 9. The lap pool will remain open during this time for patrons to use.
