Faculty Panel to Discuss Global Contributions of Women
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Feb. 26, 2011 – “Many Places, Many Voices: Women Across the Globe,” will be the topic discussed by a panel of Southeast Missouri State University’s faculty on March 4 to celebrate Women’s History Month.
This hour-long discussion begins at 5 p.m. in the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum. The panel includes Michelle Contrino (dance), Wendy Cooper (industrial and engineering technology), Dr. Susan Martin (art), Hillary Peterson (dance), and Dr. Leslee Pollina (psychology), who will explore the role women have played across the globe and the contributions they have made. The panel will also discuss the changes they have experienced throughout their careers. A reception will follow the lecture.
