Regents to Consider FY13 Incidental, Special Course Feesby News Bureau on
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., May 10, 2012 -- The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents will consider an incidental fee schedule and special course fees to take effect with the fall 2012 semester when it meets May 12.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Glenn Auditorium of Dempster Hall.
Consent items on the agenda include conferral of degrees for spring and summer 2012 graduates; several Faculty Senate bills; consideration of a proposal to delete the capstone seminar, comprehensive exam, internship and thesis as options on the Master of Science in criminal justice; and consideration of a change in the Business Policy and Procedures Manual concerning petty cash funds and a revised policy statement to accompany it.
The Regents will hear reports from the outgoing Faculty Senate Chair Kevin Dickson, incoming Faculty Senate Chair Janice Ward and Student Government President Patrick Vining. Kathy Mangels, vice president for Finance and Administration, will deliver a report on a finalized contract with Chartwells, Southeast’s food services provider, and a progress report on contracts and Facilities Management projects. The Board also will receive information on Southeast’s scholar-athletes as part of the President’s Report.
The Regents will consider a motion to go into a closed session for appropriate considerations. When the open session reconvenes, the final item on the agenda will be consideration of a motion to adjourn.
