Power Outage Forces Cancellation of Classes June 18 in Central Campus
Faculty, Staff Employed in Affected Area Should Not Report to Work

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., June 17, 2013 -- Classes scheduled in the central area of campus at Southeast Missouri State University are cancelled for June 18 due to electrical and HVAC outages.
Classes scheduled in Crisp Hall, the Art Building and Carnahan Hall are cancelled June 18.
In addition, Southeast faculty and staff employed in the following buildings should not report to work June 18: Crisp Hall, Art Building, Brandt Hall of Music, Carnahan Hall and Parker Hall.
Storms and heavy rain that moved through Cape Girardeau today are believed to have caused the outage.
