Finalists Announced for Southeast Provost Positionby News Bureau on
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 24, 2013 – Finalists for the position of Provost, the chief academic officer at Southeast Missouri State University, were announced today at a meeting of the University’s Board of Regents.
The finalists and the dates they are scheduled to interview on campus are as follows:
• Mr. Jeffrey Morin, dean of the College of Fine Arts & Communication, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
-Interview Dates: Nov. 4-5
• Dr. William Eddleman, vice provost and dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Southeast Missouri State University
-Interview Dates: Nov. 5-6
• Dr. Larry Daniel, dean of the College of Education & Human Services, University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Fla.
-Interview Dates: Nov. 11-12
• Dr. Gersham Nelson, dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Mo.
-Interview Dates: Nov. 12-13
The finalists were selected following airport interviews Oct. 15-16. The national search process began after Dr. Ron Rosati left Southeast in early summer to accept a position to lead The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) in Curtis. Dr. Gerald McDougall is currently serving as interim provost.
