Redhawks Kids Camp Coming to Southeast June 2-Aug. 1

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., March 18, 2008 – Redhawks Kids Camp (RKC) at Southeast Missouri State University has released its program information dates and forms for summer 2008.

RKC is a fun summer day camp for kids ages 5-13 (or entering grades K-8 in the fall).  RKC will hold nine consecutive sessions from June 2 to Aug. 1. This year, RKC will be housed in the Student Recreation Center–North, providing more opportunities for playing space and most importantly daily swimming in the new Student Aquatic Center.

RKC counselors are Southeast students, many of whom are training to be teachers. The camp offers a safe environment for children and a great value for parents and guardians. RKC will keep youths active in recreational games, sports, arts and crafts and other fun-filled activities.
To find out more about RKC or to download a registration form, visit http://www4.semo.edu/recsports/redhawkskidscamp/index.asp, or contact Jen Rose, coordinator – Recreation Services, at (573) 986-7452 or jrose@semo.edu. Registration ends at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 7.
