The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. at 731 N. Main in Sikeston, Mo.

In related action, the Board also will consider approving a resolution to issue System Facilities Revenue Bonds Series 2008 to finance construction of the new residence hall and other residence hall capital improvements, and to refinance earlier bond issues to obtain more favorable interest rates.

The Regents will hear a progress report on the University's strategic planning process.

The Board will then consider a motion to go into a closed executive session for appropriate consideration. When the open session reconvenes, the final item on the agenda will be consideration of a motion to adjourn.
