Dexter Student Awarded BEC Incentive Scholarship to Attend Malden Campus

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., May 14, 2008 – Lindsey Crow of Dexter, Mo., has been awarded the BEC Incentive Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University-Malden for the 2008-2009 academic year.

The BEC Incentive Scholarship is a one-year Crisp Bootheel Education Center (CBEC) Incentive Scholarship valued at $4,500 and covers the cost of incidental, general and textbook rental fees for up to 30 Southeast credit hours per academic year at the Southeast regional campus.

Crow is the son of Philip and Donna Crow of Dexter, Mo., and is a 2008 graduate of Dexter High School. During her high school years, she has been active in Student Council, serving as vice president this year; Rotary Interact, serving as president this year; and FCCLA, serving as vice president this year. She plans on majoring in elementary education at Southeast Missouri State University-Malden.
