Southeast Style Guide The Southeast Missouri State University News Bureau publishes hundreds of news releases a year. Individual colleges, departments and offices publish even more material. With the proliferation of materials published via desktop publishing and of Web pages, the need for consistency in style and usage is more important than ever. Please refer to the information in the following pages when preparing text for publication, either in print or on the Web, to ensure you are following the official style of Southeast Missouri State University. This guide is a work in progress and will be updated regularly as the need arises. Please feel free to call the University News Bureau at (573) 651-2552 with any questions you may have concerning University style.
