VIDEO: Southeast Explorer Brings Mobile Science Museum to the Bootheel

The Southeast Explorer is a 38-foot-long mobile teaching and learning center operated by the Southeast Missouri Regional Museum at Southeast Missouri State University. The mobile learning unit visits area schools in the University's 26-county service area, carrying interactive exhibits, interpretive panels and multimedia materials. The rotating exhibits on archaeology, NASA and Missouri history provide students with opportunities to see and touch artifacts previously only available in place-bound museums.
