Southeast Missouri State University has a process to help each student successfully navigate their path from new student to graduating student. This process begins with a student’s First STEP orientation.
We know college is an exciting and challenging time in a student’s life and our First STEP orientation program is designed to help the transition to college life easier for our new students and their family members.
We encourage students and their family members to ask lots of questions, actively participate in small group sessions, develop friendships and learn everything you can about Southeast.
By participating in Southeast’s orientation programs, students and their family members will gain a great understanding of the University and be better prepared to enter into the first transition to college.
**PLEASE NOTE: When you reserve your First STEP orientation space online, you will receive an online confirmation. Approximately two weeks before your reserved date you will receive a schedule of the day, parking permit and other important information**
