Marisa’s Advice: “Your college experience will happen in the blink of an eye. Make a four year commitment to yourself that you are going to learn and take in as much as humanly possible. Make mistakes, learn from your mistakes, step out of your comfort zone, get involved, find opportunities to study abroad, read about anything you can get your hands on, plan for your future, enjoy the present moment, and take the chance to explore who you are and who you want to become.
Take advantage of your education in the classroom, as well as lessons being learned outside the classroom. Knowledge is power, and the more you learn the more you’ll grow as an individual. Love yourself through this exciting and sometimes difficult transition into adulthood. In summary, appreciate your college experience and make it a memorable chapter in your book of life."
