Below is a schedule for the day's events and activities. You will listen to a series of speakers who will help you better understand which classes to take, what resources are available to you on-campus, and how to take advantage of your new environment!

| During check-in students will receive a packet of information including a schedule of the day, surveys, a student information booklet, as well as many other important materials. During this time, may also have their ID pictures taken and speak with Orientation Leaders about their experiences at Southeast. Please note that students will need to present a state-issued driver's ID in order to receive their Southeast ID card. | ||

| Staff from The Center for Writing Excellence describe the importance of writing assessment and how it relates to transfer students at Southeast. Career Services staff will discuss the University's unique Career Linkages proficiency checks. | ||

| This session focuses on issues related to the transition process for students and family alike. It is facilitated by Dr. Randy Carter, Assistant Dean of Students. Staff members from the Campus Health Clinic, University Counseling Services, and Campus Safety comprise a panel of experts ready and willing to discuss services available to the student body. | ||

| Bruce Skinner, Director of Residence Life will provide an overview of what it is to live in the residence halls, the resources available to students, as well as a description of the dining facilities. | ||

| If you are a commuting to campus, staff from the Office of Admissions will offer tips on how to get involved and succeed as a Southeast commuter student. | ||

| Do you have questions about financial aid, scholarships, or even the FAFSA? This session will provide an overview of financing college. If guests have specific questions about a student's financial aid, members of Student Financial Services are even available for questions after the session. | ||

| At this point in the day, students will be lead by an Orientation Leader around campus. Orientation Leaders will direct students to their advising appointment locations and answer specific questions about places and services on-campus. | ||

| Dr. Craig Roberts of the Stephens Honors Program speaks with students and guests about Southeast's Honors Program. In his session, Dr. Roberts will discuss the benefits of the program and describe completion requirements. | ||

| Students and their guests may take time to eat lunch, ask questions, and browse our information fair, hosted by departments acoss campus. | ||

| Students who have not yet met with an advisor and have requested an appointment will meet with an academic advisor at this time. The advisor will help students choose classes which are best tailored to students' needs. | ||
