Orientation Information
Parking
The Transfer Orientations are held in the University Center on the corner of Henderson Street and Normal Street. Please park in the visitor lot across from the University Center. A parking permit will be mailed to you once your Transfer Orientation reservation has been received.
Orientation Fee
A $30 non-refundable orientation fee will be charged to your account. This fee covers all steps of your orientation experience while enrolled at Southeast including meals for you and your guests, publications, materials, postage and staffing of orientation events.
Academic Advising
At Transfer Orientation, you have the option of having our office make your advising appointment for that day, or you may opt to call your advisor to make an appointment for a different date. When you call our office, we will give you your advisor information.
Southeast Connection
Southeast values experiential learning and open communication among faculty, staff, and students. Through interactive sessions facilitated by Southeast faculty, staff and student Orientation Leaders, you will receive "nuts and bolts" information, meet other members of your class and begin your Southeast connection.
Orientation Handbook
As entering Southeast students, information about all the university resources can become overwhelming. To help you along, we have created an Orientation Handbook which lists information on classes, advising and enrollment, campus living, financial aid, etc.

Things to Remember
- Make sure your ACT, ASSET, or TOEFL score is on file with Admissions. You may wish to bring a copy of your most recent scores in case of any discrepancies.
