Southeast Missouri State University

Following are two typical ways to progress through the program. University study requirements may be taken prior to, after or concurrently with these courses. Although this sequence is recommended to ensure seat availability, RNs may take fewer or more courses to slow or speed up progression through the program.

NOTE: Although a specific number of clinical hours are not required, each course requires assignments or projects that are required to be completed by the student in the field in which they will work at their place of employment or other area in the community. Thus, the Certified Background Check (CBC) requirements must be fulfilled to enroll in any nursing course.
