Does Southeast have an Honors Program? Yes. The Southeast Honors Program provides students who have excelled academically with opportunities tailored to their special needs, aspirations and motivations. In addition to being considered for special scholarships, honors students have the option of participating in special programs, seminars, living-learning communities, research projects and internships and can graduate with a special designation for having completed the honors curriculum. Honors courses traditionally have fewer than 20 students in each class, thus providing more personal attention and depth and challenge to enhance their academic experience. For criteria to join the Southeast Honors Program, visit http://www.semo.edu/honors/admission.htm or call (573) 651-2513. |
