Do you offer any freshmen scholarships not based on family income?

Yes.  Freshmen admitted each fall are automatically considered for various merit-based scholarships  based on information submitted on their application.  These include such scholarships as the Governor’s Scholarship, Regents’ Scholarship, the President’s and the President’s Plus Scholarships, the University Scholarship, the Regional Development Award, the MAP Achievement Scholarship and the G.E.D. Scholarship. The deadline date to apply for these scholarships is December 15, so be sure to complete the application process prior to that date.
