Absolutely.  Many students receive financial assistance – in scholarships, grants, loans and income from jobs.

Aid comes in two basic categories:  the kind you have to pay back and the kind you don’t.  You don’t have to pay back scholarships or grants.  Loans, of course, you do have to pay back, but they’re not all alike. The best are federal loans, as many offer a delayed payback, delayed interest payments or low interest rates.
