Mineral Area College
First-Time College Student
First-time college students are encouraged to come to the Perryville Higher Education Center to enroll.
Step 1: Complete the Application for Admission or apply at http://www.mineralarea.edu/.
Step 2: Apply for financial aid, if needed.
Step 3: Request that your high school send an official high school transcript to: Admissions Office, Mineral Area College, P. O. Box 1000, Park Hills, MO 63601.
Step 4: Have your official ACT scores reported to Mineral Area College (MAC). This can be done at the time you register to take the test. If you did not arrange to have your scores sent to Mineral Area College, check with your high school counselor to see if your scores are on your high school transcript. Scores listed on high school transcripts are acceptable.
MAC has implemented a new step in the registration procedure – Web registration. This is an interactive Web application that allows students to search, register and pay for classes online. Currently enrolled students are eligible for Web registration. High school students participating in dual enrollment are not currently eligible for Web registration.
The process is started by visiting http://www.mineralarea.edu/ and clicking on “Web Registration.”
Prior to registration, make sure:
• You have completed all prerequisites for all classes for which you plan to enroll.
• There are no outstanding holds on your record.
• All your financial obligations are met.
Contact the Perryville Higher Education Center at (573) 547-4143 or e-mail us at email@example.com if you have questions about registration.
