Magnetic Materials Lab
Magill Hall - Room 142
The Magnetic Materials Lab is the research lab used by Dr. Peggy Hill for her work on studying various magnetic materials in collaboration with colleagues at several other institutions. Dr. Hill measures the electrical resistivity of materials at very low temperatures in order to help ascertain their electrical and magnetic properties. Her lab is currently equipped with a four-point resistivity probe, ac susceptibility coil, and a low temperature cryostat for measurements down to 4.2K.
