Phi Kappa Phi #260 Takes Love of Learning to an International Level, Fall 2007 (11/2/2007)
Twenty-nine year-old Jeremy Petoskey's greatest fear is that his kids won't know him when he gets home. He's a soldier who has been assigned to some very hazardous duty in Iraq, and his three children are too young to really understand why Daddy isn't home every night. His wife keeps in touch with him by e-mail and digital photography, but the children, well, it just isn't the same.

Daniel Huff of Annapolis, Mo., a May 2006 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, has received a 2006 Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship from The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi for the 2006-2007 academic year.

Southeast Faculty Member Attends Phi Kappa Phi Triennial Convention (11/3/2004)
Dr. Anne Marietta, assistant professor of human environmental studies at Southeast Missouri State University, was among 200 delegates, observers, guests, board members and national office staff to attend the 2004 Phi Kappa Alpha Triennial Convention in Albuquerque, N.M. in August.

McFerron Awarded Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship (4/8/2004)
Ross McFerron of Advance, Mo., a senior political science major at Southeast Missouri State University, has been awarded a $5,000 Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship for graduate study as he continues his education in law school during the 2004-2005 academic year.

Phi Kappa Phi Delivering Little Golden Books to Local Hospitals on ‘Make A Difference Day’ (10/17/2003)
Members of the Southeast Missouri State University Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society will deliver 1,000 Little Golden Books to Southeast Missouri Hospital and Saint Francis Medical Center Oct. 25 in an effort to “Make A Difference” in the lives of area newborns. Make A Difference Day, scheduled for Oct. 25, is a national day of helping others -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors.
