Death Investigations

This course is six hours and costs $40.  It is included in the CEU Contract Program at no additional cost. It is held in the Law Enforcement Academy Classroom, at 122 S. Ellis in Cape Girardeau.

Course Summary:
In this course we deal with the different types of death investigations, including natural deaths, suicides, homicides, and accidental deaths.  Crime scene and case management are discussed, as well as evidence specific to the human body.

Attendance Policy:
"Students attending Continuing Education programs sponsored by the Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy must attend all of the regular blocks of instruction in order to receive a certificate of completion.  In Continuing Education Programs, which consist of discreet blocks of instruction, the student may receive continuing education credits for those blocks which are actually completed."
