Basic Forensic Archeology

This course is 12 hours and costs $75.00.  It is held at the Academy at 122 S. Ellis.

Course Summary:
This class is designed to familiarize investigators with the fundamentals of forensic archeology.  Participants will be shown the basic techniques of searching, excavating and recovering surface and buried remains.  Classroom instruction will be followed by practical exercises.

Attendance Policy:
"Students attending Continuing Education programs sponsored by the Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy must attend all of the regular blocks of instruction in order to receive a certificate of completion.  In Continuing Education Programs, which consist of discreet blocks of instruction, the student may receive continuing education credits for those blocks which are actually completed."
