State-of-the-Art Facilities

The College of Science, Technology, and Agriculture is recognized as a Missouri Center of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing Technology and has programs accredited by the Association of Technology, Management and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) and Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ABET). It is also recognized as the state model for the 2 + 2 transfer of technology degrees from community colleges. The College provides high-tech education and specialized training to meet the needs of the region.

Because of the cooperation among area legislators, industry leaders, and educators, Southeast Missouri State University has been given the opportunity to create a model for the education of students in the polytechnic disciplines. The Otto and Della Seabaugh Polytechnic Building is a state-of-the-art facility which has the finest classrooms, laboratories, and equipment in an ergonomic setting designed to promote student learning. 

The Otto & Della Seabaugh Polytechnic Building houses the Department of Polytechnic Studies offices, classrooms, and laboratories; the North Advising Center; the Dean of the College of Science, Technology, & Agriculture administrative offices; as well as the Technology Resource Center.
