Waiting List Information

Contact the Polytechnic Studies Department directly to be put on a course waiting list. Visit Polytech 216, call (573) 651-2104 or e-mail . If a seat becomes available, the department administrative assistant will call and/or email the first student on the list letting the student know that a seat is available. The student will be given 24-48 hours (the hour deadline will be listed on the email/phone message) to respond by phone or email letting the department know that you are still interested in the seat.

If the students schedule will not allow for a course to be added (too many hours, course conflicts, etc.), the student will either need to make necessary changes or discuss dropping a course with the administrative assistant, as the department will not override any course conflicts. If the student does not respond by the given deadline, the seat will become available to the next student on the list (so be sure to check your emails daily, and/or give a cell phone number in which you can be contacted readily). The last day the waiting list will be available is the Friday before classes start.  On the first day of classes, any available seat will be made available to open enrollment.
