Calculating G.P.A.
Academic Standing Any time a student's cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.) falls below 2.0, the student will be placed on academic probation and enrollment will be limited to a maximum of 12 hours per semester. The student will remain on academic probation and must earn a semester G.P.A. of 2.0 in each subsequent semester until the cumulative G.P.A. is at least 2.0. A student on probation who earns a semester G.P.A. of less than 2.0 will be subject to suspension. Probationary students must meet with an advisor each semester prior to registration. In addition, schedule changes must be approved by the advisor. How to Calculate Semester G.P.A.
