The Department of Engineering and Technology is housed in the Otto and Della Seabaugh Polytechnic Building, a modern facility that offers students multiple laboratories, classrooms, and auditorium space available with exclusive access to students enrolled in courses offered by the Department of Engineering and Technology.

Seabaugh Polytechnic Building

With exclusive engineering and technology space, the Seabaugh Polytechnic Building houses several classrooms with specialized teaching and research labs and manufacturing and technology labs with the latest high-tech equipment. The 70-seat auditorium comes equipped with dual projection and lots of options for interactivity. The computer labs have the latest technology, and the Technology Resource Center promotes work with area industry.

Cisco Academy Support Center

The Cisco Academy organizes courses to train the next generation of networking and computer technology professionals. It represents a partnership among educational institutions, industry, government institutions, and non-profit organizations. The purpose of this cooperation is to increase access to education and career opportunities and provide an adequate number of qualified experts, who are in demand within the networking industry.

Technology Resource Center

The Technology Resource Center works with area industries to evaluate the needs of current manufacturing processes and the development of new technologies. In the past, this industry support has included industrial projects and training.

Cape Girardeau Regional Airport

Southeast professional pilot courses at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport will be taught from a 52,000 square-foot hangar that houses private aircraft as well a classroom space, offices, and flight simulators.
