Office of Pre-Collegiate Programs

The Office of Pre-Collegiate Programs is a part of the Southeast Missouri State University Office of Student Development. As a department within that unit, our mission is to introduce secondary and middle school students to the University, and guide them toward a post-secondary education at the college of their choice. 

In doing this the University’s mission is implemented within the community by challenging students to extend their intellectual capacities, interests, creative abilities, develop their talents and acquire a life-long enthusiasm for learning.

Our offices include the GEAR UP For College (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) program.
