Initiatives

Our staff visits every tobacco retailer in Service Area 21 and provides the Missouri State law signage, education materials, and training opportunities to retailers. We also receive the Prevention Resource Center (PRC) grant which focuses on alcohol, tobacco, and other youth drug prevention throughout Service Area 21. PRC staff regularly attends meetings and help registered coalitions with funding.

Upon request, PRC staff may present at your school, organization, and/or event. Please contact us if you are interested in a presentation on alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and/or mental health. The PRC grant offers at least three trainings per fiscal year. In the past, some of these trainings have been mandated reporter, current drug trends, ethics, etc. We typically offer these services for free.
