Trainings

The PRC works with the six counties we serve to provide an array of trainings and workshops to meet the needs of our communities. We can provide these in many different settings: schools, businesses, health departments, local libraries, churches, etc. The PRC offers a variety of trainings such as, Youth Mental Health First Aid, Signs of Suicide, Developmental Assets, and alcohol, tobacco and other drug presentations. Some recent presentations were conducted in several schools throughout Service Area 21.

An electronic cigarettes and vaping presentation was provided to professionals. The PRC also hosts trainings and workshops on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University, and, if requested, trainings and/or workshops may be offered at your organization. Most trainings are free of charge. Check out our Facebook www.facebook.com/preventionresourcecenter/ page for upcoming events. Please contact the PRC for additional information.
