Congratulations to the Psychology Club/Psi Chi Relay for Life Team!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Psychology Club/Psi Chi Relay for Life team “Psych’d for a Cure” for their success in the First Relay for Life Event on the Southeast Campus!!! They raised $1,230.85 of the over $10,000 raised at the Relay Event! They not only reached their $1,000 goal, but exceeded it with only three weeks to boot!  The “Psych’d for a Cure” team earned fourth place out of 17 teams. Several of the Relay teams consisted of 100-200 members, while the Psychology team was a small, but mighty group of ~15. There was a core 7-8 people who really put a lot of time and effort into this event and who are great contributions to our club. Thanks also to the faculty who donated books for the sale. The book/bake sale accounted for almost ½ of the monies raised! The “Psych’d for a Cure” team represented the Department of Psychology well—Thank you all!!!
