Cardio Club is back for the summer. Simply sign up at the SRC-N and record the miles you complete with the cardio activity of your choice on your personal record sheet. Throughout the semester you will receive certificates for your major milestones. Once you hit 100 miles, you will receive a "100 mile club" T-shirt. Whether you're competing with your friends or just joining for fun, watch yourself race to the finish.
Have you been wanting to try one of the new TRX Suspension Training classes at the SRC but are too intimidated? Sign up this summer for a free introductory class to learn the proper techniques and moves you can perform on these fun and amazing straps. These straps can be a great addition to any fitness program whether your goal is to attend a class or simply work out with them on your own (they are available to rent out with a valid Southeast ID).

Recreation Services is pleased to offer Redhawks Kids Camp (RKC) this summer. RKC is a four-week recreation-based day camp for kids going into K-6 grades in 2014. RKC kids will be active in games, crafts, board games, educational activities, experiential learning activities, community service projects, sports, swimming and much more during the day.
RKC has a variety of options to fit the needs of each family, including full- and half-day options, three-day options and discounts for University faculty, staff and students. There also is a sibling discount.

Recreation Services is launching a new wellness program through which faculty and staff, and their spouses will be able to earn a free or discounted recreation center membership. By participating in Recreation Services programs, faculty and staff can earn SE or "Sweat Equity" points during three consecutive semesters that can then be cashed in for a free or discounted recreation center membership. All you have to do is sign up; we'll do the rest! A current membership is not required to participate in the program.
For more details on the program or to register, please see the attachment or click here. Your SEKey and password will be required in order to register.
Recreation Services has added the option of a monthly fee schedule to its membership rates. Beginning Monday, Jan. 14, individuals wanting to purchase a membership for a period less than a full semester will have the option of purchasing a monthly membership. All-Inclusive or Full Student Recreation Center memberships will be available on a monthly basis.
Recreation Services now offers opportunities for those without a membership to participate in the group fitness and intramural sports programs. For $80 per semester, non-members may purchase a group fitness pass that will allow them to participate in group fitness classes without having to purchase a recreation center membership. Similarly, the purchase of a $40 per semester intramural sports pass will allow non-members to participate in intramural sports activities.
