If moving in was a bit of a stress, come relax in our Yoga Flow class made up of lengthening and strengthening moves to get you ready to start classes on Monday. August 19 – Sept 1 Group Fitness Class Free Preview, Student Recreation Center
Preview all of our Group Fitness classes for FREE during the first two weeks of classes! Try out our Zumba, Body Barre, Yoga, Pilates, Aerial Yoga, Real Ryder Cycling, TurboKick, TRX Training, Boot Camp, and much more! We have many classes to choose from, so try them all and find your favorites. A full schedule is located at semo.edu/recservices. After these two weeks, a semester pass is $40.00 and attend any class you want for the entire semester. A one-time class pass is $3. Join the SRC Fitness Staff and Redhawk Health Educators to find out what’s going on with wellness this semester! Stop by for a chance to sign a steer sober pledge and dunk a peer educator in our dunk tank There will also be a chance to ask a personal trainer a question, get a fitness orientation, buy a group fitness pass for the semester or try a class for free. Come on out and try our Zumba class but this week you get to glow while you dance! Glow in the dark accessories will be available and this week the class will be located in the West Gym. Dance, glow and have fun!
Sept 9 Self Defense Class, 11:00 am - 12:30 p.m., SRC – MP Room

Come test your own strength and endurance in our outdoor obstacle course around part of campus. Compete for prizes, but also come for the fun! Everyone who participates will receive a free t-shirt! Waves will start every 15 minutes beginning at 4 p.m. Sponsored by Recreation Services.
September 13 Build Your Own Semester De-Stress Kit, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., UC, Lobby
Stop by the UC to build your own stress management kit. Pick and choose from a variety of stress relief tools, toys and resources that you can use at any time during the semester to help find positive ways to decompress. Bring your own shoe box to build your kit but we will have extras.

How well can you hit a softball? Come out to our Home-Run Derby softball event located at the Intramural Turf fields. This is a drop-in, point-based event which will give everyone an opportunity to compete for points.

Celebrate group fitness this week and wear fun attire to get a free punch on your card. There will be prizes for best dressed!

Are you a fan of American Ninja Warrior? Come test your own ninja skills on our indoor obstacle course. Finishers receive a T-Shirt, winners receive an Intramural Championship T-Shirt!
December 5 Speed Climbing Competition 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Student Recreation Center
Rock the Wall! Rec Services and the Rock Climbing Club will be hosting a speed climbing competition. This is a drop-in event that will be located at the SRC Rock Climbing Wall. Come out and see how fast you can climb
December 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 De-Stress Fest
Look for a schedule of events to find ways to unwind the week before finals. From free yoga classes, to mindfulness sessions, to puppies at the UC.
