How Does Associate'sPlus Work?

Associate’sPlus is known as a “reverse transfer” program. It is designed to make the first 62 credits you earn both purposeful and flexible. Of these 62 credits, 15 will be from Missouri State-West Plains. These classes will be online and can be completed while attending our Southeast regional campuses.

After 62 credits, you can choose to graduate with an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Missouri State- West Plains. If you choose to continue, you are already well on your way to a bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

Southeast Missouri State University

Missouri State-West Plains has been ranked sixth in the nation in the Best Community Colleges category of the 2013 Washington Monthly College Rankings.

In 2012, Missouri State-West Plains was named one of the top 120 two-year colleges in the United States by the Aspen Institute Community College Excellence Program. This ranking places Missouri State-West Plains among the top 10% of community colleges in the nation. The ranking was earned as a result of the school’s excellent student outcomes in the areas of student retention and graduation, institutional improvement, and equity (evidence of completion outcomes for minority and lowincome students).
