A: Any student who is enrolled at a Southeast Missouri State University Regional Campus who has not already completed an associate’s degree.

Q: What is “Reverse Transfer”?

A: You will complete 62 credit hours applicable to the Associate of Arts (AA) degree while attending a Southeast Regional Campus. A minimum of 15 credit hours must be completed through Missouri State-West Plains to earn the AA degree. Although you are seeking a Bachelor’s degree through Southeast Missouri State University, you can receive an AA degree from Missouri State University-West Plains when you have completed the required courses.

  • Twice in recent years, Missouri State-West Plains was named one of the top 120 two-year colleges in the United States by the Aspen Institute Community College Excellence Program. This ranking places Missouri State-West Plains among the top 10% of community colleges in the nation. The ranking was earned as a result of the school’s excellent student outcomes in the areas of student retention and graduation, institutional improvement, and equity (evidence of completion outcomes for minority and low-income students).

Q: How do I apply?

A: There is no fee to apply. Simply complete the Associate’sPlus Program Application, allowing you to enroll in Missouri State-West Plains courses as a visiting student.

A: You can choose from a wide selection of online courses at Missouri State-West Plains, depending upon availability. Your Southeast Regional Campus Academic Coordinator will guide you through the Missouri State-West Plains degree requirements.

A: A Southeast Regional Campus Academic Coordinator can assist you. Once you’ve been admitted to Missouri State-West Plains you will receive a letter containing directions on how to get started as a Missouri State-West Plains student.

A: The fees for online Missouri State-West Plains coursework are $129 per credit hour and an additional $5 per credit hour technology fee. Additional lab fees may be required for some courses.

A: You will be required to log into the My Grizzly Den portal to check your email and log into your online courses through Blackboard.

A: Yes, you are required to locate the texts required for Missouri State-West Plains coursework. Missouri State-West Plains offers textbooks through their online site www.grizzbooks.com. Many titles are also available for rent.
