Vietnam: Angel of Death

by Harry Spiller

Harry Spiller joined the Marines when still in high school, drawn by the blue dress uniform and stories of sacrifice and courage.  After four years as a marine and a tour in Vietnam, Sergeant Spiller was assigned to be a recruiter in Cape Girardeau, encouraging other young men to join the armed forces.  His saddest duty, however came when southeast Missouri's young men were killed in action.   A compelling and sympathetic account of a difficult time.  (2002, 181 pages)
