Haydn "Nelson" Mass Tuesday, April 7 - 7:30 pm Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) is one of the most famous and beloved of Classical composers. The symphony orchestra will join with Southeast’s University Choir and Choral Union (Dr. Steven Hendricks, conductor), in this performance of Haydn’s “Nelson” Mass, commemorating an important naval victory by the British commander, Lord Nelson. Also on the program will be the 2008-2009 student winners of the Concerto and Aria Competition. |
