Founded in 2001 by Robert Battle as a platform for his choreography, Battleworks Dance Company has a repertoire of brilliantly composed and executed dances. Battleworks is now a home for dancers to work and grow. Battle possesses a dance vocabulary that utilizes gesture and nuance in a beautiful, unusual way.  When it comes to movement, Battle has no boundaries in creating his imagery.
