Amanda Lincoln
Development Director

As Development Director for KRCU, Amanda Lincoln oversees all fundraising activities conducted by the radio station, works to generate financial support used to operate KRCU through corporate underwriting, listener contributions, major gift fundraising and special events. Amanda also works with station staff and community volunteers to develop new fundraising ideas and raise awareness of KRCU though the formulation and development of fundraising goals and marketing strategies.

Amanda has been at KRCU for the past 5 years and truly loves her job. “I feel I have the best job! I love meeting new people every day that share my passion for KRCU. Public radio plays an important role in our community and it is wonderful to be able to build relationships that further the mission of KRCU. ”

An NPR affiliate, the station is best known for its award winning news programs such as Morning Edition and All Things Considered and classical music. Amanda’s favorite programs include the locally produced Elliot Potter Show and Morning Edition. She says “Elliot Potter is great, new edgy music that you cannot find anywhere else on the radio dial and I have to start my day with Morning Edition – it’s informative, fun and thought provoking!”

Amanda is actively involved in the Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Farmington, Sikeston and Ste. Genevieve Chambers of Commerce, Southeast Council on Philanthropy, Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau and Tri-State Advertising & Marketing Professionals.

Amanda is a 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where she majored in Mass Communications - Public Relations and minored in Management. She has over a decade of experience in the development and communication industries. Amanda lives in Jackson with her husband and two children.
