Public broadcasting matters to millions of Americans. It matters to parents because it helps them educate their children. It matters to teachers because it provides high quality programming and materials for classroom instruction. And it matters to a third of the U.S. population tuning in each week because it makes them more informed and effective citizens.

But public broadcasting is in danger due to proposed reductions in the Federal budget which would cut more than $200 million a year. Program quality will suffer and smaller stations serving rural areas could go dark. Please help us by contacting your representatives in Congress.
