Cape Girardeau Police Department Celebrates 150th Anniversary
The Cape Girardeau Police Department will hold its 150th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, October 22 at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus. There will be a reception of current and former Cape Girardeau Police Officers at 5:00 p.m., followed by a welcome for the public at 6:00. Dr. Frank Nickel will give a presentation on Cape Girardeau’s law enforcement. Retired Lieutenant Paul Echols of the Carbondale Police Department will speak about crossing paths with serial killer Tim Krajcir. Chief of Police Carl Kinnison and Assistant Chief Roger Fields spoke with KRCU’s Jacob McCleland. |
