Kenn Stilson is the chairperson of the Department of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University. He recently wrapped up filming Fire Lily, his first feature film. Fire Lily is a coming-of-age story based off a screenplay Stilson wrote about growing up in Malden, Missouri.

Blake Esicar is president of Esicar's Old Hickory Smokehouse in Cape Girardeau. Founded in 1934, the family-run smokehouse will close its doors in September. Blake Esicar explains his family's decision to retire the business.
