Going Public for December 9, 2007

Red kettles and ringing bells in front of storefronts in crisp December air is a trademark of the Salvation Army. Major Ben Stillwell commands the Salvation Army in Cape Girardeau. He spoke with Going Public’s Chris Schnell.

Cape Girardeau: Then and Now is a new photography exhibit on display at the River Campus at Southeast Missouri State University. The exhibit juxtaposes old archival photographs of Cape Girardeau with stills of the community from the present. Many of the photos were taken by Tom Neumeyer, a lifelong Cape Girardeau resident and professional photographer. He spoke with Jacob McCleland.
