Going Public for March 30, 2008

On this week's program we talk to storytellers who will present at the First Annual Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival.

Dan Keding often tells stories of his childhood, growing up in Chicago. He also tells ghost stories, folktales from all over the world, and original pieces. He learned many of these traditional pieces from his grandmother, who brought them to the United States from Croatia.

Jim "Two Crows" Wallen is an oral historian who combines his love of history with a good story. He often presents in period clothing. A Missouri native, Two Crows grew up in a rich heritage of storytelling.
