Southeast Missouri State University recently announced the formation of a new Committee on Sustainability to address energy and environmental challenges. The committee will be lead by Dr. Chris McGowan, dean of the College of Science and Mathematics.

Jacob McCleland speaks with  Dean McGowan and  Dr. Tom Kelly, the director of the University Office of Sustainability at the University of New Hampshire, which is seen as a national leader in sustainability.

Southeast Missouri State University recently received some new historical documents about the Civilian Conservation Corps’s work in Southeast Missouri during the 1930s. Historian, Dr. David Briggs discusses with Joel Rhodes some of the history of the CCC, the work the CCC did in Southeast Missouri, and the impact the Depression-era program had on the young men who participated.
