The organization Citizens for Missouri’s Children recently released their annual Kids Count Report, which looks at the well-being of children throughout the state. The report rates each county – and the City of St. Louis – in order from best place for kids to last. Cape Girardeau County slipped 22 spots from 26th to 48th. Emily Schwartze, policy director for Citizens for Missouri's Children, discusses the findings.
