Timothy Krajcir, the serial killing who raped and murdered five women in Cape Girardeau in the late 1970s and early 1980s, is now in the Cape Girardeau County jail. While cooperating with investigators, he claimed that he also committed an assault on Mount Vernon, Illinois women in 1981. However, another man was convicted for the crime…a man who died 17 years later in prison. We speak with Bridget DiCosmo, a Southeast Missourian reporter who is following the story.
