Dick Meyers is the editorial director of digital media at NPR. That means he’s the guy in charge of news, entertainment, and music on npr.org and other National Public Radio digital platforms. Before coming to NPR earlier this year, he was a reporter, producer, online editor, and columnist for CBS news for 23 years. He’s also the author of a new book that looks at disenchantment among Americans at our own culture. The book is entitled Why We Hate Us: American Discontent in the New Millennium. Dick Meyer spoke with SEPR's Jacob McCleland.
