The Manhattan Project provided a model for all “big science” projects that followed. The program that developed the atomic bomb was an overwhelming undertaking that changed the way governments treated science and technology. Dr. Chris McGowan, the dean of the College of Science and Mathematics at Southeast Missouri drops by to talk about the Manhattan Program and its legacy.
